Chuck 1%er grew up around Miami. He first
learned of the Outlaws when he was a kid and the Outlaws hung
out on North Biscayne on the beach in the 70’s. He always said
that he remembered Big Jim Nolan 1%er the most and he knew that
he wanted to be an Outlaw some day. He grew up spending a lot of
time on the ocean spearing fish, diving for lobster and working
on docks, seawalls and bridges. When he wasn’t doing that, he
was riding his bike running around with the Miami crew- Normie
(his brother), Fat Joe, Matt, Nasty, Big Gary and the whole
bunch. He started coming around the club house in the late 90’s
on Sundays for the food and Brotherhood, then it went to “Are
you Buying?” He probated for a while and then he became an
Outlaw. Being an Outlaw was natural to him. He was always ready
to go on the road and stop at every club house along the way to
get to know his Brothers. Chuck 1%er is what our life is all
about. For the past few years he lived on the west coast of
Florida helping to start the Charlotte county chapter. He was
the kind of man who loved to go out riding around and meet
people. He had a heartwarming smile every time we saw him, a
True 1%er Brother. |

These words
were written for and read at his funeral: |
|
Here’s to those who took their
chances
in a world of busy men
Who battled luck and circumstance,
fought and fell and fought again
Won sometimes and did no crowing
Lost sometimes and did not wail
Like a child forever growing
Never false to any friend,
Was a Brother till the end.

In and out of my life
Good Brothers come and go….
You were one I was proud to know.
You had your way like no other….
Rest in Peace my Outlaw Brother.
